Be a different & make a different

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

How to be a Winner
DEFINATION...
You are a winner if you keep achieving your stretch goals and are happy in your own skin.
A Win is a Win-Win
"The winners stun us not by their cleverness, but by the fact that every tiny aspect of the business is just a touch better than the norm." - Tim Peters
Things work out best for those who make the best of the way the things work out.
Seeing Life Differently
The secret of winning in life lies in seeing life differently - in its different shades and outcomes. "Life becomes a path that leads to achievements. Winners do not value life as much as what they can do with it. For them life is not a tedious journey from the womb to the tomb. It is a journey about crossing milestones and looking forward to new ones."4

Ten Differences between a Winner and a Loser1
Winner&Loser

Makes mistakes and says: 'I was wrong'

Says: 'It wasn't my fault'

Credits his good luck for winning even though it wasn't luck

Credits his bad luck for losing, though it wasn't luck

Works harder and has more time

Is always 'too busy', too busy staying at failure

Goes through a problem.

Goes around a problem.

Shows he's sorry by making up for it.
.
Says he's sorry but he does the same thing next time.

Knows what to fight for and what to compromise on.

Compromises on what he should not and wastes time with trivial matters.

Says: 'I'm good, but not so good as I ought to be'. Looks up to where he is going.

Says: 'I'm not as bad as a lot of people'. Looks down at those who've not yet ..achieved the position he has.

Respects those who are superior to him and tries to learn from them.

Resents those who are superior to him and tries to find fault.

Responsible for more than his job.

Says: "I only work here".

Says: 'There ought to be a better way of doing this'

Says: 'Why change it? That's the way it's always been done'

Researchers at Durham University have turned into magicians to better understand (how humans think and act.)

Magic tricks aid research project

Researchers at Durham University have turned into magicians to better understand how humans think and act.

They claim methods used by magicians like David Blaine to manipulate perception could be used to improve the next generation of computers.

They developed a series of magic tricks as part of a research project with colleagues from British Columbia.

The team say attempts to link magic and human cognition have been largely ignored by modern psychology.

Researchers say their findings have potential long-term applications in activities which aim to grab people's attention, such as human-computer interfaces, which are thought to become increasingly more complicated.

'Laws of physics'

Dr Gustav Kuhn, who works in Durham University's psychology department but is also a practising magician, said: "Magicians are in some ways miles ahead of scientists.

"For example, imagine a ball tossed into the air that suddenly disappears, or someone successfully predicting what you will do next.

"These tricks may seem like they defy the laws of physics and logic but they are actually created through a combination of skill and a deep knowledge of human psychology.

"By drawing upon the practical knowledge and experience of magicians, scientists may obtain new insights into various areas of human perception and cognition that we are still struggling to understand.

"Although the methods we have developed are proving very useful in investigating the mind, in our dual roles as scientists and magicians, we take great care in protecting the mysteries and secrets of magic."

Magic Tricks Reveal Mysteries of Human Mind

Magicians are way ahead of psychologists when it comes to understanding and exploiting the human mind and our perceptual quirks.

A new study, detailed in the current online issue of the journal Trends in Cognitive Sciences, reveals how elements of human cognition, such as awareness and perception, could be explained by the success of some techniques commonly used by magicians.

For instance, vanishing tricks rely on the idea that we are only aware of a small part of what's in our visual field.

"Although a few attempts have been made in the past to draw links between magic and human cognition, the knowledge obtained by magicians has been largely ignored by modern psychology," said researcher Ronald Rensink, who specializes in vision and cognition at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

Josh Bernstein promises to unravel mysteries in 'Unknown'

Josh Bernstein, the explorer/survivalist/TV host whom Discovery hired away from the History Channel, has staked his TV career on being an everyman's man, a conquering hero in performance fleece. Early on in his new series, "Into the Unknown," which premieres tonight at 10 on Discovery, he demonstrates one of his most stunning superpowers: He can ride a moped through Rome while looking directly at the camera. As a feat of bravery, that's nothing to sneeze at.

Like "Digging for the Truth," the History Channel series that made Bernstein a star, "Into the Unknown" purports to answer deep and unexplored questions about human history. But in the premiere, at least, the title is a misnomer. Bernstein explores the history of gladiators, reminding us every few minutes that Hollywood movies portrayed them as pathetic slaves. Soon enough, he announces the vaguely counterintuitive truth: They were actually celebrities in their time, iconized and slightly reviled, a little like today's professional wrestlers.

Intriguing enough, but hardly a secret; this territory has already been well-trod by the historians, scientists, and self-proclaimed gladiator experts Bernstein meets on his travels through Italy, Europe, and Asia Minor. Information-wise, this show is no different from any of the countless historical documentaries that populate Discovery, History, and PBS - except that instead of just the brainy talking heads, we get Bernstein as a guide.

With his tousled hair and his attractively craggy face, he walks us through ruins, peers at human bones, and dresses up in gladiator gear, acting as a stand-in for the couch potato dude who fancies himself a history buff. And for the mostly male Discovery audience, Bernstein has to be the perfect fantasy persona. He's suitably smart and comfortably casual, and he inhabits the high end of the geeky-sexy spectrum.

When he visits a modern-day gladiator school, the teacher muses about what his trademark skill might have been, and concludes - no joke - that it's his handsomeness. That about sums up his TV career, as well.

How to Help Your Child Accept a Second Marriage

On announcing your forthcoming second marriage, your 6 to 11 year old child has reacted negatively - what should you as a parent do to make it easier? When you're faced with your child's pain and anger during a time of your happiness, it can be a turbulent time. This article presents some ways to help your child come to terms to the new arrangements and learn to accept your impending blended family.

Steps
Reassure your child. Even if your child gets along well with your fiancé, remarriage often revives the pain of divorce. Also, through loyalty or fear of betraying his father or mother, your child might want to refuse to participate or help. It is important to reassure him, to tell him that you understand and respect his decision. Prepare him for a solution that lets him off the hook; such as going to his father's place or a friend's place during the wedding. He mustn't feel abandoned but it's important that his refusal to attend won't influence your decision to go ahead. Whatever happens, your marriage will occur because it's a matter for the grown-ups to make decisions about their own lives.
Understand her worries. She may be afraid that perhaps she'll be called upon to move, to share her room with a half or step-sibling. She may be worried about what will happen to her daily play routine, vacation plans and general activities. On the other hand, it may well be that a new marriage will bring about an ease in financial constraints so it is important to be honest and explain how change is always hard for everyone but that there will be some very good changes that come out of the new family situation. Point out how there will be easier ways to do things with more people on board to help out. It is important to be frank, because she will feel betrayed if you try to gloss over the challenges. Reassure her that despite the changes, her relationship with both her parents remains one of love, support and respect for her. And let her know that despite the new marriage, you will be still be there for her, together planning the future, with her as she grows up and supporting one another.
Make it clear that love between adults is not something a child can change. Gently help him to understand that whilst he can manage his toys, homework and choice of clothes, he cannot influence his parent's love life, whether it be divorce or remarriage. In discussing this, never use negative words about him - a child all too easily assumes responsibility for the single parent and can feel a sense of personal blame. Ensure that he does not have any such negative feelings and reassure him that when it comes to affairs of the heart, feelings and love, much cannot be explained and that things just "are". Tell him also that the joy of one person does not equate with the sadness of another - there is room for all the family to feel joy at the coming marriage.
Approach new names with great care. Unless there are very good reasons, it is not a good idea to change a child's last name; it is a threatening challenge to both her personal identity and her connection with her father. It is better to reassure your child firmly that she will keep her father's name and that nothing changes. In terms of a name for the new spouse, discuss this directly with your child and let your child come up with a nickname for her new parent. Finally, explain to her that she has the right to love her new parent without this love taking the place of her love for her father. There is room for both people in her life and if both her father and new parent take their roles seriously, she'll discover the delight of having more people caring about her welfare and needs.
Be patient. A very stubborn refusal that includes rebelliousness and anger won't be resolved overnight. Talk to your ex-husband to get support for helping your child through this transition. If he hasn't remarried before you, odds are he will be in the future, so either he'll have already been through it or he'll be open-eared about what he will experience should this happen to him as well. Show openly to your child that you and your ex-husband still have your child's concerns at heart first and foremost in your discussions; this isn't the time for dragging through old hurts but it is a time for putting your child's concerns first.

Tips
Although this article has been written primarily for women seeking to remarry, many of the concerns will be the same for a man seeking to remarry and facing the reactions of his children.

Warnings
Most children of divorced parents exhibit many more behavioral/discipline problems if their parents remarry when parents do not take the proper steps to ease the transition. This is partially because less loving time and attention is focused on the child in lieu of the new spouse and any new children they make. The very best way to help your child accept a second marriage is to wait until they are ready.

running habbits can give you long and healthy life.

People who want to live a long and healthy life might want to take up running. A study published on Monday shows middle-aged members of a runner's club were half as likely to die over a 20-year period as people who did not run.

Running reduced the risk not only of heart disease, but of cancer and neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, researchers at Stanford University in California found.

"At 19 years, 15 percent of runners had died compared with 34 percent of controls," Dr. Eliza Chakravarty and colleagues wrote in the Archives of Internal Medicine.

Any type of vigorous exercise will likely do the trick, said Stanford's Dr. James Fries, who worked on the study.

"Both common sense and background science support the idea that there is nothing magical about running per se," Fries said in a telephone interview. "It is the regular physical vigorous activity that is important."

The team surveyed 284 members of a nationwide running club and 156 similar, healthy people as controls. They all came from the university's faculty and staff and had similar social and economic backgrounds, and all were 50 or older.

Starting in 1984, each volunteer filled out an annual survey on exercise frequency, weight and disability for eight activities -- rising, dressing and grooming, hygiene, eating, walking, reach, hand grip and routine physical activities.

Most of the volunteers did some exercise, but runners exercised as much as 200 minutes a week, compared to 20 minutes for the non-runners.
At the beginning, the runners were leaner and less likely to smoke compared with the controls. And they exercised more over the whole study period in general.

"Over time, all groups decreased running activity, but the runners groups continued to accumulate more minutes per week of vigorous activity of all kinds," the researchers wrote.

"Members of the running groups had significantly lower mean disability levels at all time points," they added.

The team also set out to answer whether taking up running late in life would benefit, and whether people who stopped exercising began to pay a price as they aged.

Most of the runners have stopped running as they reached their 70s, Fries said. But it was difficult to find people who totally stopped exercising. "Almost all of them did something else. They continued their vigorous exercise," he said.

People who took up exercise when they were older also improved their health, he said.

The study also showed that people cannot use the risk of injury as an excuse not to run -- the runners had fewer injuries of all kinds, including to their knees.

Jogging into old age reduces deaths and disability
Jogging through your 50s and into old age reduces the chances of disability and death, scientists found.

Members of an over 50s running club who went jogging regularly were two and half times less likely to die in the 21 year study period than non-runners of the same age, American researchers found.

Disability levels were also lower in runners showing they stayed healthier for longer.

Runners were less likely to die from coronary heart disease, stroke, all cancers, neurological problems, and infections.

One of the biggest effects was seen in deaths from breast cancer, with non-runners 4.2 times more likely to die over the study period than runners.

The study carried out by a team at Stanford University School of Medicine in California is published in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine.

Author Dr Eliza Chakravarty said: "Age-adjusted death rates have reached record lows and life expectancy has reached record highs in recent years, likely due to a combination of behaviour and societal changes as well as improved medical and surgical therapies.

"With the rise in life expectancy, it becomes necessary to focus on improving the quality of life and functional abilities as people reach older ages. Regular exercise, including running, may contribute to improved health among older adults."

Govt welcomes Tourism Australia audit

The Federal Government has welcomed the National Audit Office's report into problems with Tourism Australia.
The Audit Office found that Tourism Australia does not systematically evaluate the effectiveness of its projects and is risking its reputation because of board members having conflicts of interest.

Federal Tourism Minister Martin Ferguson says in March this year the Government demanded that Tourism Australia maintain the highest standards of corporate governance.

He says Tourism Australia has accepted the Audit Office's three recommendations aimed at avoiding conflicts of interest and better managing its projects.

success soul

How to motivate your mind
Human mind possess uncanny ability to conceive ideas and converting those ideas into its physical equivalent. Idea of an incandescent light bulb in Thomas Edison’s mind eventually created a light bulb. In the second century B.C.E. a young Indian boy of age 7 was told by an astrologer peering at his hand that he did not have lines on his palm for education. The boy without hesitation brought a knife and drew a line on his palm and asked “Now can you see the line ?” This young boy was none other than famous Panini who grew to become one of the greatest grammarians in the history of Sanskrit - making it so perfect that Forbes Magazine nominated Sanskrit as the most computer compatible language in the world !

It is then interesting to know how a young boy of ,reading experts ? If you analyze all of your activities during a day that caused stress, anger, lack of interest and sometimes hatred have one common thread. This common thread is lack of love, lack of passion for those activities. When we try to engage our mind in actions that are not self asserting with feeling of positivity, passion and deep rooted burning desire, our subconscious mind never gets motivated to trigger actions filled with positive energy. It is therefore utmost important to find what you love to do in life. It is therefore crucial to know your life purpose. Once you find your life passion or purpose, you can easily motivate your mind by conjuring vivid image in full color of the consequences. Write the passion and three goals that when achieved will fulfill your passion. Make copies of these goals and hand it to friends and spouse who can act as positive influence. Your mind will immediately feel sense of responsibility and self esteem to live up to the written goals. Think what will happen if you achieve those goals and ultimately achieve your life passion. What will happen if you do not ? Vivid imagination about the future has tremendous power to awake mind and awaken mind can achieve anything it desires.

In 1953, Yale university conducted a study of 1500 students. They were asked to write down on a piece of paper what they wanted to do and become when they grew up. In 1973, twenty years later, Yale tracked down these students to realize an astonishing fact. Out of 1500 students, only 3 percent wrote down their passion and goals and those student had more wealth than combine 97 percent students who did not. By writing their passion and life goals, these students awaken their subconscious mind to focus its energy akin to a beam of laser.

We all either fall into one of the two categories: Pleasure seeker or pain-avoider. Introspect and identify which category you fall into. If you are pleasure seeker, visualize beautiful images of the life pleasures that will make you happy. Constant rendering of these images will motivate your mind. If you are pain-avoider, think of pain induced by lack of action to achieve life passion and goals. Visualize the socio-economic impact for not taking action to infuse and imbue your mind with will and energy to get up and do whatever you have to do to achieve your life goals.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

'Sisterhood' Grows Up, But Just Enough

With "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2," the sisterhood has grown up. When last we left the quartet of friends who each, no matter what their size, magically fit into the same pair of thrift-store jeans, the neighborhood pals were experiencing a summer away from each other.

Now three years have passed since audiences last saw Tibby (Amber Tamblyn), Carmen (America Ferrera), Bridget (Blake Lively) and Lena (Alexis Bledel). They were 16 then and just beginning to realize the possibilities that awaited them beyond the place where they all grew up.

"The Sisterhood'' remains somewhat powerful
Too, too long, these traveling pants. They're dragging on the ground, wearing out and wearing out their welcome.

But that's the only big hole in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2,'' a sequel that actually improves, slightly, on the boy-crazy original.

It's about four disparate friends who stay connected through that one magical pair of blue jeans that fits the tall, the small, the slim and the zaftig among them. They share the pants by FedEx over their long summers and write letters detailing the adventures they have in those special jeans.

The four girls — America Ferrera is drama student Carmen, Amber Tamblyn is Boho film student Tibby, Alexis Bledel is Lena, the painter with a thing for Greek boys, and Blake Lively is soccer-playing archaeologist Bridget — are young women in college now. Carmen made it to the Yale School of Drama, where she's a little too eager to work backstage, avoiding the limelight.

"I'm pretty sure I'm right where I belong,'' she says. But that'll be tested when she goes to work for the very theatrical director played by Kyle MacLachlan, in summer stock.

Bridget is off to Turkey to dig up some ancient Greek ruins, with the help of a kindly professor played by the great Shohreh Aghdashloo ("The House of Sand and Fog'').

Lena gets over the lost Greek boyfriend from the first film with an even prettier painter-artist-model (Jesse Williams) in her art class.

funny one, goes through all sorts of melodrama with her film school beau, Brian (Leonardo Nam).

This was always pure fantasy, pretty girls "struggling'' with lives of effortless privilege and achievement while dating gorgeous, effeminate boys who spend every waking moment in the gym, apparently. But the players are older and better, now. The supporting cast (Blythe Danner turns up, too) is more distinct, with more to work with.

Director Sanaa Hamri ("Something New'') lets the laughs land, gives her wonderful supporting players nice moments and beefs up the weakest character and weakest performer (the leggy blond Lively) with the most support. Still, despite the far too generous running time, she wasn't able to tidy up some serious loose ends in the dating department.

But "Sisterhood'' has Greece and New York, Vermont and New Haven for backdrops and four of the best young actresses of their generation going through college. If you're going to get stuck for two hours in what should have been a 90-minute formula "chick picture,'' they at least make it endurable.

How To Live A Healthier Lifestyle

If you are serious about making great progress, read these success strategies over and over again until you know them by heart. It will be one of the best investments of your time and energy that you’ve ever made!

1. Success Strategies - Make A Conscious Decision To Change!

Why do so many people, who say they want to change, remain the same, year after year? I will tell you why. It is because they overlook the essential first step - the step which begins to close the gap between knowing and doing. That step is...making a conscious decision to make a change.

I am not talking about making ambiguous claims like, "Yeah...this year I'm gonna get in shape." Most people tell themselves this is one of their objectives every month. But how many people are truly moving in that direction? Unfortunately, very few.

And the reason? Because it is one thing to just talk about changing and it is a completely different thing to decide to actually do it. You see, when you make a conscious decision to make a change, your mind awakens and starts searching for a way. You begin to develop a feeling - a deeply rooted need to make it happen. That sensation is what many people call "desire". Before you know it, you will crave that change all day and night - the desire becomes a burning desire.

Fortunately, we all have desire. We may have buried it. But it is there. You have to let your desire propel you toward the goals you have decided to achieve. Do not let people, your surroundings, or circumstances convince you that you really do not have desire. When you decide you are not going to go on living the way you are living, when you decide the way things were last year is not the way there are going to be this year, you have taken the first step in implementing your Success Strategies.

2. Success Strategies - Find A Reason To Change!

"So I need to make a decision to do something here, to get off my butt and start moving. And keep moving. That is fine, but how do I do it?" Well, you just have to find a reason to change.

It is one thing to tell yourself you would like to get fit this year. It is a whole other matter to think of the most dreadful thing imaginable happening if you do not get control of your body and your life, pronto! It is having a reason that fuels the intense desire and power (the inspiration, as we call it) for getting started and for following through. There is a world of difference between simply wanting something and having to have it.

Please made sure you clearly identify your reason for deciding to change, write it down, and read it every morning and night. Be particular. We know that you know deep down inside you have a reason, actually several reasons - good reasons - to decide to change.

3. Success Strategies - Honestly "See Yourself"!

Since we see ourselves every day, we often do not notice if we are slipping. If we are not careful, before long, the image we have of ourselves in our minds will not be in sync with reality. What I suggest you do is have someone take a photo of you in a pair of shorts or swim wear. You may find this embarrassing, but trust me, it is worth it.

Now take other photos every month, and put them side by side in your bedroom, on your refrigerator door… someplace where you will see them frequently. This will help you honestly see yourself.

When you look at your photos, ask yourself if you are really satisfied with what you see and feel. How do you feel inside? How do you really feel about yourself? Are you confident, energetic, and proud? Or do you now honestly feel ever more inspired to follow through on your decision to change? What are the pros and cons of continuing on in the same direction you are going? Would you like to feel better about yourself and know you are creating a brighter future? Remember, right now you are the youngest you will ever be, and time waits for no one!

4. Success Strategies - Set Specific Goals!

You might be thinking: "I have heard about this goal setting mumbo jumbo before. It can't possibly work. If it were so easy, everyone would do it." Well listen, I really do not know what you might have heard before. But I do know this is powerful stuff. And if you find those echoes of skepticism creeping in and starting to chop away at these ideas already, you might want to take a minute and ask yourself where that is coming from. Change is about being open. It is about releasing old ideas to make room for new ones. It is about creating a better future for yourself. It is not about closing your mind. And it is certainly not about being cynical and negative.

Setting goals is vitally important to your Success Strategies. However, we have discovered many people are not clear about what goals are - they do not know the difference between goals and dreams. It is important to clarify this - dreams are things you hope for - things you enjoy thinking about but really do not know when or if they will happen. Goals, on the other hand, are specific things you have decided you need to accomplish within a clearly defined period of time. For example, the statement "Someday I am going to get in shape…" is a dream. However, if you declare that, "Within 12 weeks, I will lose 20 pounds of fat and gain 10 pound of muscle," you are setting a goal.

This is interesting: when you accomplish your goals, you are rewarded with a tremendous boost of positive energy, which allows you to set and achieve even grander goals! So, once you get this process started by achieving your first goal, you will feel it, and you’ll find yourself starting to create many exciting dreams for your life. That creates optimism and hope, which both feel pretty darn good! When you’re optimistic, you can't help but focus on the future. It is just so exciting, you can't wait to get there!

The bad news is, when you don't set and achieve specific goals, you can't create greater dreams, and when you stop dreaming, you don't have anything to look forward to, so you don't look forward, you look down or back… you lose hope.

Here is a tip on how to set goals: find an example - someone who has achieved what you want to accomplish with your body and/or life - and set your goals based on that. Find someone who was in your present condition, or thereabouts, and take a long look at what he or she was able to achieve. The fact that they have done it is proof you can too.

A simple, yet very powerful practice is to be sure that you write down your goals. It works! Here's proof: back in 1953, a Harvard University study showed that 3% of the students graduating that year actually wrote down their specific career goals. Twenty years later, a team of researchers interviewed the class of 1953, and found that the 3% who had written down their goals were worth more financially than the other 97% combined. (Make no mistake, writing down goals pays off, big time!)

5. Success Strategies - Honor Self-Promises!

When you set goals, what you are really doing is making promises - not to me, your family, or your friends - but to yourself. The promises we make to ourselves, although they are the easiest to break, are by far the most important ones to honor. You see, the very essence of confidence is self-trust.

Would you trust anyone who repeatedly lied to you? Someone who broke the rules of the game, again and again? Of course you wouldn’t. So, if you have developed a pattern of not honoring self-promises, this is a great time to make a change. If you can't honor, trust, and depend on yourself, well that may be the root of a lot of the challenges in your life - a lot more than you realize.

The thing about lying to ourselves is we never, ever get away with it. We may fool our conscious mind into ignoring or not admitting what we are doing, but deep down, in the place where all truth resides for each of us, in the place where we know and see ourselves as we really are - in that place, we are causing pain and damage every time we are not totally honest with ourselves. Lie to yourself often enough and your self-trust - your confidence - will fade away. Into that emptiness will seep uncertainty, anxiety, and a whole lot of complex crapola you do not even want to know about.

But you can change that. It is a lot easier to keep the promises we make to ourselves than it is to break them. And keeping those promises unleashes enormous energy and potential - that potential emptiness created by self-deception can also be filled with strength, certainty, and yes, confidence…if you honor self-promises. (We’ve all heard the phrase, "The truth shall set you free." Well, nowhere is that more true than when we apply it to our relationship with ourselves.)

6. Success Strategies - Focus On Your Future Vision!

Unfortunately, most people will never develop a strong future vision for their lives. They will never admit to themselves, or anyone else, what their dreams really are, and they won't put a deadline on those dreams and transform them into goals. Thus, most people will never even begin to harness their true potential. What they don't realize is if they are not focused on their futures - if they are not consciously creating their lives - then they are living accidentally, not intentionally. They are merely reacting to life.

When you have faith in your future vision, it creates resilience: when things do not go your way, you will be able to pick yourself up because your future vision will be stronger than your setbacks. Doing the particular things you need to do to move toward that future vision will become automatic, a habit. It is close to the certainty of religious faith - the comforting, assuring feeling that whatever happens will happen, but in the end, you will succeed.

Remember that everything we experience in the "real world" is merely an external manifestation of what has already happened in your mind. That is where the relatively well-known maxim, "If your mind can conceive it, you can achieve it" comes from. And it is true. You see, in your mind, anything is possible. So nourish your mind with positive uplifting images. (Another simple yet powerful tip for Success Strategies is to surround yourself with photos and reminders which keep your future vision and goals in your mind…funny thing is, most people surround themselves with pictures of their past…it’s as if their best days are behind them.) See the results of your Success Strategies - then implement them!

7. Success Strategies - Face Your Fears!

Most people are afraid to change. They're afraid to face the uncertainty which we all feel when we leave our "comfort zones." Some are afraid of failing, and others, believe it or not, are afraid of succeeding. What is sad is most people don’t realize they’ve become paralyzed by their fears. Millions of people with great potential have been ruined and their entire lives wasted because they do not face their fears head on.

You may recognize people who are afraid and hiding out in their comfort zones by their constant complaining about people who are moving forward. "See that guy over there? I'd have a great physique too if I worked out," (Well then, why don't you do it instead of just talking about it?) Rationalization and excuses have become the only form of "exercise" many people get - these people really need these success startegies.

Remember this: if you move away from your fears, they will eventually dominate your life. But if you move toward your fears and face them head on, they get smaller and smaller.

8. Success Strategies - Make Mistakes Fast!

One of the things we at Fitness Beauty Spa have noticed is that people who try to make changes in their life don't measure their progress often enough. This is not good. We call this "failing in slow motion." Some people do not notice what is not working until months or even years have been squandered. Then they look back and realize their error - they did not notice their mistakes sooner!

If you want to succeed fast, you need to be willing to make mistakes fast. And you must learn from your mistakes.

Don't be one of those people who do exactly the same things in the coming months that didn’t work in the past and expect a different result. This will effectively kill your progression of Success Strategies. If you have not achieved the level of success you want, don’t be so naive as to think that if you make the same mistakes in the future as you did in the past, you will get a different result. If you want different results, you must allow yourself the opportunity to learn fast and take a different approach.

So, evaluate your progress at least once a month by measuring your body fat percentage and having a photo taken. Remember to celebrate your progress and also look for opportunities to do even better in the future. If you’re not making progress, make a change, and keep changing until you start getting the results you want.

9. Success Strategies - Take Action!

Please, don't be afraid of change! Don't do what so many good people do, which is "accidentally" smother their true potential by clinging to what "seems" comfortable. Success is created by action. People who get results keep moving, even if they are a little fearful! They do not quit. Sure, there are always some forms on inconvenience and stress in your life that seem like they might be obstacles that would keep you from taking action. Your challenge is to succeed in spite of all this!

Don't wait until you feel "ready" to take on a new challenge. Don't fool yourself into believing now is just "too soon". If you wait until everything is "perfect" in your life before you start implementing Success Strategies, you will be waiting forever! The time to do it is now.

The longer you wait before you take action, the more you delay the rewards that are rightfully yours. "Waiting" to change is not enough. Do something!

10. Success Strategies - Don't Give Up!

At times it might seem as if your goals are not attainable, in spite of your best efforts. That’s normal - we all feel like that sometimes. In every challenge, there will come a time when the going gets tough! You have to break through these barriers! When you do, you will discover they were blessings in disguise. You see, we become stronger because of them!

Remember that as long as you are trying, you have not failed! When it feels like you have given it your best and it is time to let go, just keep holding on. Keep pushing like your life depends on it - it just might. Prove to yourself and others that you are a winner (winners finish what they start)! Honor your self-promise! Focus on your reason for deciding to make a change and please do not give up on yourself! No matter what! You deserve to succeed! And when you do, you will feel a powerful, peaceful sense of pride and joy which no one can ever take away! So get started today on your Success Strategies!
