Jonas Brothers are launching a clothing line for teenage girls.

The teen heart-throbs JONAS BROTHERS are breaking into the fashion world. The US boy band – comprising brothers Kevin, 21, Joe, 19 and Nick, 16 - are teaming up with Disney customer Products to discharge a back-to-school sportswear range later this year, which will communicate with their upcoming Disney TV series J.O.N.A.S!

Disney Consumer Products’ Pamela Lifford said: “We see this line as high chance for back-to-school. Also, as an added element, within each of the retailers we are offering up separation, so that each store has elite product on their floors.”

The fastener item in the range – a v-neck argyle sweater vest – will feature the logo of the fictional high school Horace Mantis Academy, which features in their new show.

Other pieces from the collection - called Jonas - include woven tops, T-shirts, polo shirts, plaid belted shorts, leggings, jeans and denim skirts.

explanation Disney bosses are adamant the line will sell, Pamela explained: “The difference we have with the Jonas Brothers is that we have three young men. And when you look at their customer following, we have the whole heartthrob play, which is a great thing for us to work with when we are talking about tween girls.”

The range – which was not designed directly by the brothers - will be available in popular US stores, including Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears and J.C. Penney and priced at $10 - $25.

Pamela added: “The Jonas Brothers are a lifestyle, not just a boy band. Their movie Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience lets you into their world, and the clothing line is just another way to do that.

"It’s a way to obtain closer to them and their world.”
