Miley Cyrus will be the host of SNL

Pop star Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), who recently expressed regret about the salvia bong incident, will be hosting Saturday Night Live. The actress slash singer will not be performing as the musical guest (who hasn’t been announced yet), but it’s been speculated that Miley will be popping up on “The Miley Cyrus Show”, which is a recurrent SNL spoof of the 18-year-old starlet. Who could the musical guest be? Selena Gomez? The Jonas Brothers? And dare I suggest, Justin Bieber?

Vanessa Bayer has been playing Miley on the running skit, which has had plenty of material to draw from with Miley’s recent shenanigans ranging from salvia to scantily clad attire. Miley Cyrus will be performing live on SNL in New York on March 5, 2011.

In related news, Miley has also been grabbing headlines because she has been nominated for 3 categories in theKids Choice Awards. In the “Favorite TV Actress” category, Miley is competing against Miranda Cosgrove, Selena Gomez, and Victoria Justice. For “Favorite Singer,” Miley once again is up against Selena Gomez, as well as Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift. “Favorite Movie Actress” is the final category Miley is in, facing stiff competition from Ashley .

Miley Cyrus gets her fifth tattoo...

Miley Cyrus said 2011 was going to be all about making people happy. I am not sure what a new tattoo has to do with making other people happy but good for you Miley. It turns out the young Hannah Montana star recently got a new tattoo on her torso. Judging by the out of focus picture, it looks to be like some sort of dream catcher. With Miley getting new ink, do you think Playboy is in her future?

I am not avid supporter of Miley Cyrus but I highly doubt she will ever do Playboy. Yes, the 18-year-old just got another tattoo but before you judge…you should ask what it means. It turns out the dream catcher tat has four feathers which represents her four brothers and sisters. Supposedly the dream catcher is to protect them…how thoughtful.
